The Mr. is off the rest of the week, that makes me much happier than if I was off. His days are longer and require a lot more from him.
I absolutely love my work; I get to decide from week to week exactly how much I can give and schedule accordingly. So, I don’t usually feel I need a long break from it.
Plus I don’t have to deal with insurance companies like he does. That alone warrants a longer break… often.
People who weasel their way to the top of insurance companies are kinda like these dolls: creepy, out of date, and wholly unnecessary… and belong in a box at a garage sale.

It is.
And, if I stay off the internet, it’s easier to remember that.
Right now I’m sitting on the roof in the shade (necessary) with my favorite boys, writing to you, and feeling grateful that I have a medium that I can express myself through.

We bought a new bed! The old one was trying to kill me slowly, or not so slowly toward the end.
We were in and out in less than 45 minutes, thanks to “Bridget” Technology is okay sometimes.

First mini golf of the season! I enjoy activities you don’t have to be good at in order to have fun.

This deer might have gotten stuck in the birth canal.

Oh, hey!

I signed up to be a member of the local community garden. Which I’m regretting because I really don’t like to work in other people’s gardens. I want to work on my own. So, I don’t go, and then feel guilty.
The circle of my life…

Oh, Ramen, how I love you. Maybe not this week because it’s suppose to be a hundred degrees with a thousand percent humidity.
But, September through May, you are my favorite.

Bet you can’t guess which one is mine…

Their church…

Camping in Mike and Kristi’s yard for Kristi’s birthday, but not really the best present, because I’m beginning to realize she does not love camping like the rest of us do.

The Mr. and I however, appreciated a chance to sleep outside, and hang out by a campfire.

I have perfected freezing blueberry pie, which makes it even better because you only have to be ambitious once, make four tiny pies, and then ride the wave.

FKNG bugs…

So! The fourth is this weekend. I do miss Montana on this particular holiday.
I got an invite to my 30 year class reunion on the 5th – So bizarre to me, 30 year reunions are for old people.
High school was not the best time in my life. The idea of celebrating it has taken a minute, but for the first time in all the invitations, I thought “I wouldn’t mind going to that”.
I’m healing… Or, getting over my shit – Same head, different hats.
If I’m still alive, I will make it a point to go to my 40th…
We will be hanging with The Duckett’s, and Rudy and Andee. (We need a name for our group, we will work on that this weekend.)
Our plan was for all of us to pitch tents in the Duckett’s back yard. That was before we learned that it will barely get below 80 at night. So we will be winging-it in that area.
But we will be eating great food, that is always a guarantee.
Happy “great food” weekend, Loves!
And, a very Happy 61 years (tomorrow) to The Jane and Joe Show!
